Pasadena, the cultural capital of the beautiful San Gabriel Valley, is more than just Rose Parade and college football. Pasadena has a plethora of wonderful wedding venues with its beautiful historic mansions and hotels. Here are a few of our favorite Pasadena wedding venues!
The York Manor

The York Manor is a historic structure in Los Angeles’ Highland Park neighbourhood that was built as a church in 1913. The large ballroom, as well as the front and rear yards, are ideal for events (seen above). A speakeasy in the basement is also available for a quiet wedding or after party. The York Manor allows you to DIY the majority of your event’s components, but the opportunity to create exactly the type of event you desire is well worth it.
University Club

The University Club of Pasadena is a lovely and reasonably priced event venue. The club’s dining room, which features stunning chandeliers, is ideal for a wedding or cocktail celebration, and your guests will appreciate the stylish decor of the outside terrace. The food at the University Club has been lauded by critics, thus wedding packages include in-house catering. It is one of the best Pasadena wedding venues.

The Castle Green is breathtaking. Built in 1898, this Nationally Registered Historic Monument features exquisite Mediterranean Revival architecture. There are also three distinct bars, giving you and your guests a wide range of options for the large event.

The Maxwell House
The Maxwell House was built in the Tuscan style in 1929. As a fantastic value wedding location from the list of Pasadena wedding venues, we can’t get enough of it. You get a lot of space when you rent the Maxwell House. You have access to the stunning living room, dining room, library, and garden patios.

In the back of the lobby, there’s also a dancing floor! They allow you to use third-party vendors, allowing you to choose the best caterer, DJ, and wedding organiser for your special day. The wedding package includes all of this, as well as a rehearsal dinner on the Friday before your wedding! We could go on, but we recommend arranging an appointment to learn more as soon as possible because they only host one wedding every weekend and dates fill up quickly.

The Romanesque Room offers a beautiful interior backdrop for your wedding ceremony as well as an exceptional dining experience for your wedding reception. The inside of the dining room is embellished with flourishes in the Romanesque style, which was popular in Medieval houses and churches. It was the principal dining room for the Hotel Green (whose complex also housed the Castle Green upstairs), and it has a traditional Pasadena vibe which makes it one of the finest choice from Pasadena wedding venues. Castle Catering, the venue’s operators, create excellent event meals.
